Cortaro Vista Community Church will be participating in Operation Christmas Child again this year. Now is the time to start purchasing items to fill your shoe boxes as school items are now on sale. The Gathering - Each Sunday night we "gather" for a time of inspiration and fellowship. It's a time for singing, to pray for each other and our church, to listen to a short devotional from God's Word and maybe hear some special music. It takes about 45-50 minutes. We meet at 6 PM and everyone is welcome. (finished for the summer and will resume in September) Master's Fellowship Bible Study meets every Wednesday at 7PM at CVCC (finished for the summer and will resume in September) Men Alive group meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 2PM at CVCC Peace Ambassadors are meeting the second Saturday of the month at 9:30 AM at CVCC. Please be sure to drop off your food items at church on Sunday for delivery to ICS. With the economy not yet in the recovery stages, many people are out of work, have lost their homes and are in need of food. |
