Prayer Request Wednesday, October 29, 2008 A Message from Jean Schmid
Hi Everyone,
This request is fro Brenda. Please help her pray for this new mother that she can regain her strength soon. Thanks so much for your caring. Love Jean
I received this message from my Niece, Diamond, regarding my Nephew, Jesse and his wife, Jessica who just had a baby last night. The baby (Ian) is doing well. He was 7 lbs 9 oz and very alert and healthy, however, Jessica had a very hard time of it at the end of her pregnancy and after she delivered him. Please pray for Jessica that she gets through this and is able to take her son home soon.
Love, Bren
Jessica became very ill last night and if it wasnt for modern medicine she would not be so good. They thought that she would need a transfusion which they are still considering. Her pressure dropped to 60 over thirty and she lost more blood than they realized. She is doing much better thank god. They put her on potosin again so she basically went through labor twice because they needed her to contract and get everything back to where it should be. Her pressure is back up but her blood count is still low. They will reevaluate tomorrow as to whether or not she will in fact need a transfusion but hopefully not and then they can go home.
UPDATE on Thursday, October 30, 2008
Jessica is doing much better but the doctor wants to keep her over night once again. When she stands up, her blood pressure drops again. They decided not to do a blood transfusion but to just allow her body to heal. She's a very strong young lady. Baby Ian is doing very well, as well as my Nephew, Jesse. Jesse can't wait to get them home. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers for Jes. Love, Brenda

8. Dennis, Pastor Ted's brother-in-law, who has many medical problems already, has lost his job now. Pray that he will be able to find a good job soon and that he will be able to find a way to get medical insurance fairly soon. Pray for the family as his wife Kathy also has medical problems.
Praise to our Lord for the care and safety of Collen and Tony, Ralph's son and daughter-in-law, that have just returned safely from Iraq. They had a long trip back but nevertheless made it safely.
Praise the Lord for the baptism of Sarah Jester this morning. She is a sweet baby girl from China that took many months to finally be with her family. Praise God that all went well for her introduction into this family, and for giving her a wonderful family
to grow up in. May God bless this family for all the years ahead.
Lastly, Praise for 57 great years of marriage for Art and Jean. Thanks to Dawn for her wonderful cake and surprise for us today. We had a wonderful dinner with family and enjoyed our afternoon.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and your caring and for all you are doing for our church. Love Jean
Prayer Requests Tuesday, September 16, 2008 A Message From Jean Schmid
Hi Everyone,
A prayer request from my friend in Florida just came to me.
Please help us pray for this couple that are going through a hard time with heart surgery pending, if that is what it turns out to be.
Thanks foryur prayers and caring. Love Jean
When it's all been said and done, there is just one thing that matters... did I live my life for Him?
There is a couple in Naples that are in need of prayer - Angie runs a program that assists people in need - it is called Helps. Her husband, Joe, helps some but also works in a clothing store and is a realtor. Joe has been admitted in North Collier Hospital with heart problems. Seems to be a valve problem. Please add them to your prayer list.
Thanks
Well everyone, before I got this first one sent out I got another request. Another friend here in town is asking for prayers for her Grandson Joshua who is in Iraq. He is on a high risk mission and hasn't communicated for about a month. He has a wife and a little daughter with another daughter due in December. Please help us pray for the safety of Joshua and that he can keep his faith, and that God will keep him safe, give him His peace and guidance. Pray also for his wife Erica that is at home waiting for
a word from him. This is a hard time for any family. Thanks again everyone for your caring. Love Jean
Prayer Request, Monday, September 15, 2008 A Message From Jean Schmid
Hi Everyone,
This nessage was received about Ruth Ann's mother. Her mother isn't doing well and isn't responding to the treatment she has been given. Flikkema's have gone to be with her at this very hard time. It is always so hard on a family when their mother is ill. Please help us all pray for her and the family for a peace that only God can give and that God will carry out his plan for their Mom. May God give them all a loving and caring time and accept the peace that is available for them.
Thanks everyone for your prayers and your love and caring for these requests.
Love Jean

Prayer Request, Friday, September 12, 2008 A Message From Jean Schmid
Hi Everyone, This prayer request comes from Kay's friend' Nancy in El Paso. Please help us pray for her at this hard time in anyone's life. Love Jean
I am asking you to pray for my mother and for me and my family. My mother is not doing well and I think this could be the end for her. She has asked for me and I am going to be by her side. I leave tomorrow morning to see her and of course to see the rest of my family. Please pray that my mother is comfortable and does not suffer. Pray for me as
I drive out to California to see her. Maybe for the last time. My heart is heavy but I would rather that she not suffer any longer. Of course the big thing for me, in the event of her death, as a source of comfort is that I know that she will be with the Lord and those of her family that have gone on
before her. That comforts me beyond words. It also brings me comfort to know that you will be lifting me in prayer as this happens in my life. Thank you for that. I thank you for your prayers. I truly appreciate them at this time in my life. Nancy

Dearest Brothers and Sisters, Blessings to you from our congregation. Please continue to pray for Native American Ministries. Keep the Winnebago Reformed Church in your prayers, as they are looking for a new pastor. Ministry on a Native American Reservation is q unique and challenging one.
